The
five categories are:
1: Super
lux (security cameras,
Jacuzzi’s, daily
maid etc);
2: High end;
3: Mid range;
4: Budget;
5: We never class any
property as five; we don't
want any one to feel on
the bottom.
The
Categories are based on
comfort level, service
level, location and value
for money and so they
are quite loose. Some
properties should really
be a four at first glance
but have a three because
the owners bend over back
wards and make all the
difference.
Some
number ones are classed
as twos for the same reason
in reverse.
In our
opinion hospitality makes
or breaks the holiday
and is far more important
than (for example) whether
the hair dryer is in every
bathroom or on request.
Mainly
they reflect our general
and over all impression.
We work
very closely with our
property owners and we
know each property intimately.
We only have properties
on the site that we would
personally like to stay
in and are very fussy.
