Il Portico is a small private house.
It sleeps 3 people in one bedroom with one bathroom.
It is located in the heart of the village and is comfortable
and elegant. It has a covered dining terrace off of
the kitchen.
The entrance to Il Portico is up
two stone steps through double front doors that date
from the 18th century and are made of solid oak. They
lead into the living area which has Satellite Television,
a CD player, a comfortable triple sofa bed and a country
style wood burning stove.
Ahead two antique dressers grace
the Tuscan style dining area which has ample space for
four people. To the right is a separate fully fitted
kitchen which includes 4 gas hobs, a fridge/freezer,
a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster and coffee maker.
There is a back kitchen door that
takes you to the eastern flank of the village via a
covered loggia which provides a perfect place for dining
al fresco, taking in the ambiance and fragrances of
the surrounding country side.
To the left three steps take you
up to a small hallway with a safe, leading to a triple
bedroom and bathroom. This large bedroom is elegantly
furnished with a double bed and a single bed which when
it is not used is dressed as a sofa, next door there
is a bright bathroom with shower.
Please note that Il Portico has an
iron but no washing machine. Il Portico is 60 meters
or yards from the pool area.
