Florence and the Arno river.

possible to create a welcoming ambiance, carefully selecting
the furnishings down to the smallest details, using
valuable materials and objects to transmit the warmth
and charm of an exclusive and personal atmosphere.
The apartment is accessed by an elevator
which is a rare luxury in an old building of this nature.  Although there is not any air conditioning, it is not
necessary as the thick 18th century walls of the palazzo
ensure that it remains cool in the summer and warm in
the winter.
The
style of the furnishing is in line with the traditional
style of city Tuscan houses, with warm materials and
colours making every room intimate and hospitable.
ACCOMODATION: The
apartment is 150 sq. meters or 1615 sq feet.
It is on the first floor and comprises
living/dining room (TV and DVD), large eat in kitchen
(oven, freezer, dishwasher), store room, 3 double bedrooms,
one en suite with bath tub, 2 with twin beds, 1 other
bathroom also with bath (washing machine/dryer). Comfortable
furnishings with some period pieces. Central heating.
 Please note that there is no phone
but good reception for guests own cell phones.
There
is an internet jack and guests with their own lap tops may access the internet.
LOCATION: The apartment is situated on the "Lungarni"
streets that run along the Arno River, near Piazzale
Michelangelo in an ideal position for visiting the historic
centre of Florence (Piazza Signoria and Ponte Vecchio
are only 300 m. or yards away). Pay parking garages
are near by for your car if necessary.
The nearest
airport is Florence, less than 20 minutes depending
on traffic. Pisa is about one hour and Rome about 3.
