is a wide choice of accommodation, anything from two
to six beds, all nicely restored and furnished with
19th century pieces. Each apartment has its own entrance
and a private outdoor space, equipped for dining al
fresco.
They also have a safe and some have
satellite television. Most apartments have a fireplace
in the living room, some also have one in the bedroom.
The modern kitchens have fridge-freezers, ovens and
four burner cook tops. All have central heating for
the winter.

GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: La Vecchia
Sassa is located below the antique village named Iano,
a tranquil and peaceful oasis that blends relaxation
with all facilities: bar, restaurant, market, news-stand
and churchare all easily reachable on foot.
La Vecchia Sassa welcomes you in an
old farm-house from the seventeenth century that has
been brought to new light fully respecting the standards
of ancient Tuscan rural traditions; Particular attention
has been given to details and finishing touches.
A delightful swimming-pool (14 x 7
meters or about 46 x 23 ft), with sea-salt system, panoramic
sun set vistas, ample umbrellas and sun lounges as well
as a very well kept garden with hedges, flowers and
secular ilexes completes La vecchia Sassa, making it
an oasis of peace and relaxation.

NEAR BY: Riding school: For equestrian sports
lovers, with prior notice you can book long excursions
on horseback among spectacular hills. Vecchia Sassa
is a preferred customer of the near by equestrian centre
“IL FREGIONE”.
 Golf: There is a beautiful golf course
5 km (just over 3 miles) away at Castelfalfi, with 18
holes route, a green and a bunker for practicing.
Hiking
and running: For nature and country paths lovers happiness
awaits just outside Vecchia Sassa. The surroundings
are in full of nature walks and pathways.
Eating: If you do not feel like cooking or driving,
you are invited to try the succulent dishes of the Tuscan
restaurant in the village.
