In the verdant country side of the
Valdichiana, surrounded by greenery but still near to
the Montepulciano is Podere Le Manzinaie.
Built in 1878, the villa has been
fastidiously restored, respecting it’s architectural
integrity and preserving the original brick ceilings
and beautiful arches.  Podere Le Manzinaie has three self
contained one bedroom apartments, a two bedrooms apartment
and a small independent villa with private garden. For
the use of all the guests there is also a large swimming
pool set amidst tranquil and elegant grounds lovingly
and carefully tended by Fiore, the owner.
It
is security gated and approached by a Cyprus lined drive
way. There is plenty of parking.

The atmosphere at Podere Le Manzinaie
is relaxed and friendly  but at the same time luxurious
with all fittings and fixtures to the highest standards
and each apartment hand decorated and embellished with
Trompe l'oeil. Each one is slightly different from the
other.
At Podere Le Manzinaie, Marzia, (the owner) can provide you, upon request, with self guided tours of the area and trekking excursions. It is ideally located for day trips to Cortona,
Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Assisi, Perugia and many
other beautiful villages.
You can reach Florence (1 hour and
half) and even Rome (2 hours) by car.
For those who do not want the hassle
of driving and parking the train is convenient, fast
and safe, bringing the major city centres even closer.
It is less than a half hour drive to Chuisi station
and from there you can take the train to Florence (1hour)
and to Rome (1 hour, 10 minutes).
For clients staying a week, at some point during your stay,  you
will be invited to dinner with Marcia and her family.
Her hospitality and culinary skills are renowned through
out the area and every one always every one always enjoys
eating together and getting to know each other a little
better.
All around are wonderful hills and
medieval villages.
As there are only six apartments the
other guests would be at a minimum and so a peaceful,
comfortable and relaxing holiday is assured.
All
the apartments at Podere Manzinaie are provided with
hairdryers and toiletries in the bathrooms. They have orthopaedics mattresses on every
bed and in the kitchen the guests will find a bottle of wine, and a welcome basket with basic goods for the following day breakfast.

Wine tasting: for one day during your weekly stay, the owners (upon request) can organize a wine tasting in one of the cellars in Montepulciano at just 10 minutes away.
Food shopping: There is one
little shop walking distance from Le Manzinaie or about
5 minutes by car and a big supermarket is in Montepulciano
centre (15 minutes by car)
Restaurants: Nearby are 2
good restaurants with typical Tuscany food and pizza
only 5 minutes away. In the historical centre of Montepulciano
is a large selection of trattorias, pizzerias, more
formal restaurants etc. and the surrounding country
side also offers other choices.
Tennis: 5 minutes by car
far from Le Manzinaie.
Golf: There is a nine hole
golf court 20 minutes away by car.
 Bank: the nearest bank is
in Montepulciano Stazione it has a bancomat (cash dispenser)
that accepts Visa/Mastercard.
Post Office: The post office
is in Montepulciano Statione and is 5 minutes away by
car.
Chemist: The nearest chemist
is in Acquaviva 3 km from Le Manzinaie or in Montepulciano.
Petrol: The nearest petrol
station is at Montepulciano Statione (with 24 hour service).
Railway Station: In the village
there is a little station with trains for Siena or Chiusi.
