hectares (about 500 acres) of olive groves and vinyards
that create an extraordinary backdrop for the country
resort which is situated next to the sixteenth century
villa of Monsignor Della Casa, and its huge gardens.
The
apartments and houses are located in the small, charming
hamlet that once housed the service staff of the farm
and villa. Many are arranged on two floors assuring

terracotta floors, expansive open fireplaces, wrought-iron
canopied beds and tasteful upholstery have all been
carefully selected to preserve the charm of a country
home. Each apartment has its own entrance, private garden

the beach, horse riding, bike riding, hiking, wine tasting,
fabulous dining, thermal spas, Hot air balloon flying,
designer out let shopping, Etruscan ruins and Renaissance
and medieval art and architecture.
Please note: This property does not
have air conditioning. Air conditioning is rarely necessary
in Tuscany due to the lack of humidity and the temperate
climate. Almost all of our properties at InTuscany are
in remodeled medieval or renaissance buildings. They
generally have very thick walls and high ceilings, most
are built on the tops of our gently rolling hills where
they catch the breezes that spring up at mid day and
in the evenings.
Generally air conditioning is only
found by the sea side or in the city centers where noise
and/or humidity make it necessary. We do not have air
conditioning in our offices or in any of our own homes.
