Thank you for sending us this Christmas Greeting.
This year we spent three months travelling through Europe. From a 12 day Baltic Sea cruise to 9 days travelling to Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Munich, Vienna and then enjoying one full month in Bavaria only 14 Km. from Salzburg-Austria. We enjoyed all this very much and have fond memories of all the places we visited. Our last month we spent in Toscana at Podere Casanuova and we felt totally at home by being welcomed by a wonderful young lady Lucia who has become a new found friend. We fell in love with San Gimignano and the very nice people we met from the Lady in the Art shop to the very pleasant helpful people in the coffe shops and restaurants. The scenery in Toscana is out of this world. We loved all the small hilltowns from San Gimignanao, Cortona, Castalina, Rada and especially Pienza and not to forget Siena and many other places. We will certainly come back in 2008 and are recommending Toscana to all our family and friends. We have fallen in love with Italy. Its beautiful stylish stores, its spectecular scenery, the most warm and friendly people and above all the wonderful food.
