Romitorio di Serelle is a suggestive
Tuscan villa, it’s medieval structure comprises
15 beautifully restored holiday rental apartments. It
is considered one of the best holiday homes in the region
and we are sure you will enjoy spending your vacation
there.

Tavern: The Tavern, exclusively reserved for guests, offers
various wines and gastronomic products that have made
Tuscan cuisine famous around the world. Among the most
outstanding specialties are Chianti Classico wine, which
is produced on a nearby farm and the fragrant, 100%
extra virgin olive-oil, which is used for the preparation
of traditional dishes.
The menu served in the tavern includes
regional seasonal dishes such us ribollita (vegetable
soup), pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup), bruschetta (
bread toasted on the coals and drizzled with garlic
and olive oil), panzanella (tomatoe and bread salad),and
other delicious and simple local dishes.
Wine cellar: The
cellar holds an important collection of prestigious
wines. Its vaulted ceiling and thick stone walls contribute
to maintain the inside temperature cool throughout the
year (12-18°C). In addition, its sun exposure and
degree of humidity allow the best preservation of the
wine it protects.
THE GARDEN AND SURROUNDING
ENVIRONMENT: The swimming-pool:
The swimming-pool (16 x 8 meters or 52 ½ x 26
¼ feet ) is part of a unique landscape, on the
verge of the woods and overlooking a large vineyard.
You will love whiling away the hot drowsy afternoons
surveying the view.
In
keeping with the ancient nature of the structure, the
gardens are planted with native flora such as rosemary,
lavender, cypress trees, etc.

noisy kids to raise hell in on rainy days, boules court,
toys and amusements, green open spaces,
LOCATION: Romitorio
di Serelle is near to Castellina in Chianti as well
as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places of
interest. The nearest airport is Florence airport (one
hour) and then Pisa (one and a half). Rome is about
2 ½ to 3 hours by car.
From Romitorio di Serelle you can
easily reach the main cities of art such as: Florence
32 Km, Siena 28 Km, San Gimignano 23 Km, Castellina
in Chianti 8 Km
Please note that there is 500 meters
(about 500 yards) of gravel drive that wouldn’t
do your Ferrari any good but is perfectly acceptable
for normal cars.

are replete with woods and cypress groves, that invite
you to go for nature walks and hikes and in the car,
to discover the minor Tuscany, with its castles and
