Elegant apartments in
the very heart of Florence beautifully remodelled in
fresh light colours, with careful attention paid to
the quality of the fittings fixtures and linens. Convenient

 Signoria Apartments,
fresh, light, elegant and with a touch of luxury immersed
in the heart of Florence’s history.
Its
current owners, the Lori Family have meticulously remodelled
the building preserving its original architecture. The
apartments are decorated in classical Florentine style.
The building has 7 independent luminous apartments preserving
its original 16th century architecture but offering
modern amenities and a convenient location.
It is located in one of the narrow
streets (pedestrian area) characteristic of the historical
centre, full of small shops, bakeries, trattorias and
wine houses, banks and pharmacies. There is also the
post office and a tourist office nearby.
You can use the Ataf network of ecological
buses or rent a bike to visit the city at  leisure.
The apartments are either one or two
bedroom with modern bathrooms, air conditioning, internet
acsess and kitchens equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer,
gas burners, kitchen utensils and microwave oven in
some apartments. The bed linen and towels as well as
the soft furnishings are all of good quality and in
good taste.

 STAIRS: In case of impaired movement or a handicap
there are 30 steep steps from the street to the lowest
level that the elevator stops at. Guests will be required
to carry their own suit cases.
EXTRA SERVICES: Extra cleaning and
laundry service are available on request for an extra
fee.
CARS and PARKING: Florence is a very small city; the surrounding country
side can be viewed from the centre. Driving around the
city is not a practical or advisable way to get around.
Private cars are only allowed in the centre before 9.30
and after 7.00 p.m. The manger can arrange a garage
for an extra fee if you would like to park your car
near to the apartment.
LOCATION: Located
in an ideal setting, 5 minutes walking distance from
Florence’s most important landmarks, Ponte Vecchio,
Il Duomo, Piazza Santa Croce,  Santa Maria novella,
San Lorenzo market etc.
The
nearest airport is Florence (20 minutes) then Pisa (1
½ hours). Rome airport is 3 hours by car but
can also easily be reached in less time by train.
From Florence you will be perfectly
positioned to explore the rest of Tuscany, including
Siena. Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo etc. with unlimited possibilities,
either by train or car.

NEAR BY: Guests have all of Florence at their
disposal including its many bars, restaurants, museums,
palaces etc.
Directly under the apartments is ‘Caffe
Italiano’ a charming bar that produces it’s
own hand made cakes, pastries and biscuits as well as
what could arguably be some of the best coffee in the
city. They also do a light lunch.

Horseback-riding: Rimaggio (Bagno a Ripoli) 5 km;
Renaissance and medieval art and architecture.
 HISTORY: The name ‘Via della Condotta’ comes
from the ‘Ufficio della Condotta’, which
was responsible for recruiting and paying soldiers for
the “conduct” of the wars in the 14th century.
The apartments are a block away from Piazza Della Signoria,
were the Medici’s erected the famous Palazzo Vecchio
(Old Palace) in 1322.
The Signoria Apartment building dates
back the Renaissance times and was in possession by
the Florentine nobility for many centuries. The building
has been thoughtfully and tastefully restored with all
new kitchen and bathrooms in 2002.
