Just to let you know we had a very enjoyable stay at Podere Torricella. The gentleman who helped us there (father of Christiano who runs it) was very polite and helpful, a true gentleman. It was well signposted and easy to find by car with the directions given.
Accommodation was clean and tidy and pretty much as we had expected. We were happy with the location and with the help of owners were able to catch bus to Florence for the day with ease. They gave plenty of directions as to where to shop for food. The restaurant attached to the the farm and accommodation was very good, had a lovely ambiance and very good food. We had some trouble locating accommodation that suited our needs for this particular time of year, which was one reason that we chose this property. We required two double bedrooms with two bathrooms, only four nights and of course in November as well. Podere Torricella gave us all this, the only hesitation being that the second bathroom was very small, Other than this, we were very pleased with our choice.

We safely made it back to Seattle,
WAshington late last night after an hour delayed flight
in Philadelphia connecting to our Seattle flight. It
was definitely a long journey home but through it all,
we felt it was all worth it. Podere Torricella is definitely
the place to be if ever we're in Tuscany again. We absolutely
enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, the greens around
the villa and the spectacular view of the mountains
and fields we saw from the pool and the unit we were
in. You were so helpful in every possible way and we
are truly grateful for that. I have one suggestion though,
perhaps there will be a much better mattress in the
master bedroom (double bed) next time. We could really
feel the spring on the one we had in our unit and it
made sleeping a little tougher at times.
Well, I hope to see you again in the
future and I will definitely recommend your place to
friends and families who'll travel to Tuscany.

I just wanted to let you know what
a wonderful time we had in Tuscany at Torricella. The
apartment was spacious, clean and reasonably well equipped.
We had some delightful neighbours and the entire atmosphere
was warm and inviting. And the view! Gorgeous. The grounds
were kept so tidy!
They were just opening up the pool
for the season so the water was a little cold for us
but we did enjoy sitting in the sun watching the thick
skinned children (our upstairs neighbours) play blissfully
in the water. We had dinner in the restaurant on our
last night and it was probably the best we had during
our entire trip.
Our host's and the pleasant young
woman who worked in the office were all wonderful. Thanks
so much for your help and for making the first week
of our first visit to Italy so enjoyable. I know we'll
return.

Yes we did have a great trip!
We had a wonderful stay at Torricella
and we drove over 1000 kms within Tuscany during the
week. Tuscany is heaven on earth. The apartment was
perfect, and the little restaurant at Torricella serves
excellent food (as most places in Italy). Our children
also enjoyed the stay very much. They/we used the table
tennis facilities every day, and they appreciated the
Italian food and ice-cream very much. I got your website
from an Italian colleague, and I will most certainly
share it with anybody who is considering going to Italy.
