In
a garden surrounded by olive trees Villa Agostoli offers
a holiday with all moderncomforts and the atmosphere
of the years gone by.
 Villa degli Agostoli is situated on
a hill in Chianti, surrounded by wonderful views, olive
groves and vineyards. It is also only 5 km from the
centre of Siena.
ACCOMODATION: The
property comprises nine small villas and apartments
built in a quiet area with fine gardens and beautiful
views of the Tuscan hills.
Each
apartment is beautifully refurbished and great care
has been given to each detail. All the kitchens are
equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, stove and
refrigerator.
All the apartments have satellite
television.
 Although the apartments do not have
their own phones, there is a phone in the a mangers
office for emergencies or to leave a message. There
is also good reception for guests own cell phones.
An internet point is available at
the near by Hotel Garden for an extra price (5 km away).

THE
GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: Right in
the middle of the complex is a large swimming pool (8
x 15 meters or about 26 x 49 feet)with spectacular views
over the valley, its olive trees and vineyards.
The pool is equipped with bathroom
facilities and showers.
Each apartment has an outdoor area
equipped for eating "al fresco”.
There is a parking place close to the apartments.
 LOCATION: Villa Agostoli
is near to Siena as well as with easy reach of most
important Tuscan places of interest such as Florence,
San Gimignano, Pienza, Montepulciano. The nearest airport
is Florence, about one hour away. Pisa airport is 2
hours away and Rome 3 hours.
OTHER
FACILITIES AVAILABLE NEAR BY: Tennis (in Siena,
5 minutes), golf (San Gimignano, 30 minutes), the beach,
one hour away, horse riding (10 minutes) , bike riding,
hiking, wine tasting, fabulous dining, thermal spas
(Rapolano terme, 30 minutes), and Renaissance and medieval
art and architecture.
Please note: This property does not
have air conditioning. Air conditioning is rarely necessary
in Tuscany due to the lack of humidity and the temperate
climate. Almost all of our properties at InTuscany are
in remodeled medieval or  renaissance buildings. They
generally have very thick walls and high ceilings, most
are built on the tops of our gently rolling hills where
they catch the breezes that spring up at mid day and
in the evenings.
Generally air conditioning is only
found by the sea side or in the city centers where noise
and/or humidity make it necessary. We do not have air
conditioning in our offices or in any of our own homes.
