Villa
Belvedere apartment was a collection of agricultural
out buildings built in the 16th century to service Villa
Belvedere. Tastefully restored they reflect their proud
heritage whilst providing a perfect Tuscan holiday experience.
Just 20 kilometres from Florence the apartments are
perfectly placed in the very heart of Chianti.
 All around the villa one has sweeping
views of the ancient olive groves and vineyards that
contribute to the estates own production of the finest
wine and Extra Virgin Olive oil. This is the same view
you'd have enjoyed hundreds of years ago, because no
modern construction has been allowed to mar its beauty.
When you are planning your stay here, be sure to allow
plenty of time for pleasant strolls through the vineyards,
olive groves and woods that make up the estate.
The manager is extremely charming and will do every
thing possible to make your holiday magical and very
special. The villa is well placed for day trips to Florence,
Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra etc and also to tour
the many historic wineries that are so numerous and
near by. Those who wish to relax can try a round of
golf at the well-known Ugolino course, only 7 km away,
or rent horses from the  nearby stables.
ACCOMMODATION: There are eight guest suites at Villa
Belvedere. They occupytwo ancient buildings, which
once provided the stables and agricultural needs for
(Villa Belvedere); completely gutted and remodelled
in early 2001, they are now bright, airy and inviting,
furnished with simple yet comfortable period pieces.
With
either one or two bedrooms, each suite also has a living
room with kitchen corner and dining area and a bathroom.
All have some sort of charming original feature, one
a fire place, another the wood burning pizza oven of
days gone by. Most have fabulous views.
 Please note that the apartments do
not have telephones. Guests may use the phone in the
manager’s office or are advised to bring a cell/mobile
phone with roaming.
All apartments come equipped with
television, fridge and burners in the kitchen. An extra
bed or baby cot/crib can be arranged and pets are allowed.
LOCATION: Villa Belvedere is near to Tavarnelle in Val Di Pesa as well
as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places of
interest. The nearest airport is Florence airport less
than an hour, Pisa is about an hour and Rome air ports
are both about three hours by car.
The property is with in easy reach
of Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra,
Arezzo and the seas side.
 Please note: This property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioning is rarely necessary in Tuscany due to the lack of humidity and the temperate climate. Almost all of our properties at InTuscany are in remodeled medieval or renaissance buildings. They generally have very thick walls and high ceilings, most are built on the tops of our gently rolling hills where they catch the breezes that spring up at mid day and in the evenings.
Generally air conditioning is only found in the city centers or at sea level where noise and/or humidity make it necessary. We do not have air conditioning in our offices or in any of our own homes.
