Villa Celeste comprises two luxurious
rental apartments in a graceful Tuscan country villa
which can be rented as a single dwelling.
This
area of the Florentine hills has been cited by some
historical authors as being one of the most beautiful
places in the world. Thanks to the narrow and charming
lanes surrounding Villa Celeste, traffic hardly exists,
and it's possible to enjoy long walks thorough open
and quiet spaces; you'll soon reach  Piazzale Michelangelo
(the finest views over Florence), Forte Belvedere and
downtown Florence.
Nearby you can find Arcetri’s
Observatory and Villa Il Gioiello, places where Galileo
Galileia lived and worked, in turn close to the convent
where his daughter Maria was a nun. Arcetri is ideally
located on the hills of Florence’s most prestigious
area. It is a small paradise immersed in the countryside,
yet is just 10 minutes from downtown Florence.
ACCOMODATION: The
villa is divided into three separate apartments; the
ground floor (with private entrance) is home to Signora
Guazzini and her family, with the upper floor given
over completely to the rental apartments.
They share a common entrance. Each
apartment is spacious, sunny, quiet and air-conditioned
and the villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden that
is very meticulously kept.
 Both apartments have a private parking
area and private terraces equipped with tables and chairs
for al fresco eating and relaxing. They are designed
and furnished in the same elegant style as the home
of Signora Guazzini.
The owner has personally directed
the restoration of the house and her impeccable taste
in colour and fabrics is seen throughout. Signora Guazzini
and her family are always available for advice and assistance.

THE
GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: Villa Celeste
shares the pool of Villa Le Piazzole which is also a
rental villa near by (about 70 yards or meters away).
The pool is closer to Villa Celeste, only 30 yards or
meters from the  house. It is very big (6 x 15 meters
or about 20 x 49 feet), but please be aware that you
are likely to be sharing it with others (a maximum of
18 people).
LOCATION: Villa
Celeste is at about 7 kilometers from the centre of
Florence, which can be reached easily with one bus journey;
the bus runs every 15 minutes and the journey takes
roughly 15 minutes. The bus stop is found at roughly
500 meters or yards from the property.
The location allows enjoyment of
a beautiful and relaxing country setting, while, at
the same time it, is only minutes away from the main
highways to Siena, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano and
beyond.
Villa
Celeste is near to Florence as well as with easy reach
of most important Tuscan places of interest.  The nearest
airport is Florence airport (about 15 minutes driving),
Pisa is 50 minutes and Rome about 3 hours.
