Terravision is a fairly new company that came about to respond to a gap in the market place which appeared as a result of the low-cost airline boom in Europe. The company started by offering a shuttle service between Ciampino airport and Rome city centre in 2002 and has since expanded to offer the same airport - city centre shuttles from Rome's Fiumicino airport to the city centre, in Milan (from Orio al Serio airport), in Florence (from Pisa airport) and in London (from Stansted airport). Although Terravision's core products are the airport - city centre shuttle services, the company has diversified and also offers half-day or full-day tourism products like the half-day guided city tour in Rome, the full day shopping tour in Milan and a series of informative guidebooks on the cities the company operates in.
