Tenuta Migone
Only 12 km south from the medieval walled city of Siena, Tenuta Migone is a timeless Tuscan villa available for rent, an estate of rolling vineyards and silver-leaved olive trees. The 17th Century farmhouse lies in the friendly hamlet of Ville di Corsano and consists of lovingly-restored apartments which are available for rent throughout the year. Your hosts, the Migone Family are happy to assist with local knowledge during your holiday.
This is a delightful spot, the traditional setting of the accommodation set off by the soothing, rural surroundings. Here you can relax by the large and spacious swimming pool where breakfast can be served every morning, or the gardens, sipping Villa Migone’s own wine and prosecco or sampling some of the local delicacies prepared by Liliana, who can also organize your dinners on request.
Tenuta Migone is a peaceful, stress-free country estate which produces the grapes for famed wines as well as olive oil, fruit and vegetables. For many guests the opportunity to relax by the pool, sit with a book under the shade of a fruit tree, or stroll through the grounds is all it takes to make a perfect vacation. The pretty hamlet of Ville Di Corsano (population 200) is a friendly little place with a small supermarket, a post office and a renowned restaurant, although Siena, the city of the famous Palio di Siena, can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car.
GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL
The apartments share a swimming pool (7 x 14 meters) and a common area with a barbecue. All the grounds around the villa have been beautifully landscaped using local native plants, some of the trees and hedges that date from the original villa gardens have many 100’s of years. Due to the temperate climate and countryside all around the garden and estate surrounding it is always beautiful, any time of year.

The entrance looks out on the dining room, to the right the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Two arches separate the living room, where comfortable sofas and armchairs are located around the fireplace. A bridge table on one side, and sitting area on the other side. Service room with washing machine and small bathroom with shower. The three bedrooms are on the same floor, two doubles and one twin. Tenuta Migone
The property is located in the little hamlet of Ville di Corsano, whose Romanic Church known as ‘La Pieve’ dates back to 11th Century and is world known as an extraordinary example of that period (percorso Giubileo). In the centre of the town there is a tower which dates from medieval times, one of the four from which the Fattoria has taken its origins. There is also a castle, Il Castello di Grotti that hosted the prestigious Piccolomini family. In the village itself you will find the Romanic church 'La Pieve' (dating back to the 11th century), the local supermarket, a post office and three restaurants, Castello di Grotti, Pulcianese, Il Ristoro and a winery.
Other local attractions include the town of Monteroni D'Arbia (9 km) with several bars and restaurants, a large supermarket, banks and a post office.
The nearby town of Murlo is also well worth a visit for its Etruscan ruins and small museum. Murlo itself affords breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside especially at sunset.
Montalcino

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 37% of the total letting price is payable at the time of booking. It may be paid by credit card or wire transfer. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent notice confirming your payment with contact and arrival information.
BALANCE: The balance is due no later than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to the beginning of the letting period and must be sent to the owner via wire transfer. If the balance is not paid by the appropriate date, the letting agreement will be deemed to be invalid and the deposit forfeited. ‘InTuscany’ will send you a reminder when the balance is due and advise you how to send the money.
CANCELLATION: In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge either:
a) deposit only - if cancellation is received more than 8 weeks before letting, or
b) Total rent - if cancellation is received less than 8 weeks before letting.
INSURANCE: All tenants are advised to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover; 'In Tuscany' can not accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by tenants.
IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE: all disputes will be heard in the court of Montepulciano.
