Borgo la Bagnaia was
once a tiny medieval village which has now been converted
in to a luxury hotel. The atmosphere of the country
estate can still very much be felt. Religious services
including intimate marriage ceremonies are held in the
estate chapel to this very day. There are a host of
secret rooms to “discover” including the
marvelous “reading room” and the 12th century
“Filetta” complex.
 The
furnishings in all the rooms and public areas are quite
stunning – featuring antique Tuscan and ethnic
pieces from the owners private collection – there
are no standard hotel room fittings - from the beds
to the lamps, each article is truly unique. Textiles
and drapes have all been personally designed by the
owner
ACCOMMODATION: Given
that Borgo Bagnaia is not your typical modern hotel,
guests will not find themselves in a room off a long
corridor with endless guest accommodations, but rather
in beautifully and individually furnished rooms in various
buildings which once made up the Medieval village.
Superior double room: Borgo
la Bagnaia’s “standard room” is in
no way standard! Each and every room is unique and with
all the features of traditional Tuscan architectural
style. Smaller than the other room types – the
room is not  suitable for more than two occupants. Rooms
have views on to the Village or the hotel grounds.
Deluxe
double room: Deluxe rooms are larger and more luxuriously
furnished than the superior. Rooms have views on to
the Village or the hotel grounds.
Junior Suite: Large bedroom
with sitting area, furnished with unique pieces from
the owner’s own collection of antiques. Rooms
have views on to the Village or the hotel grounds. Guests
booking Junior Suites will receive a tray of Tuscan
specialties.
Suite: With large bedroom
and separate sitting room, furnished with antique pieces
from the owner’s private collection aquired during
her travels around the world. The large bathrooms most
of which with natural lighting offer maximum comfort.
 Rooms have views on to the Village or the hotel grounds.
Guests booking Suites will receive a hamper with a selection
of traditional Tuscan produce.
Presidential
suite: Beautifully furnished, two floor apartments,
bedroom with four poster bed and balcony with table,
chairs and loungers overlooking the Tuscan countryside.
Two bathrooms each with separate shower and bath tub.
Guests booking Presidential suites will receive fresh
flowers, a
hamper with a selection of traditional Tuscan produce,
and a selection of complimentary spa products.
THE GARDEN AND SURROUNDING
ENVIRONMENT: Guests are free to enjoy the extensive
grounds, to wander in the gardens and woodland discovering
the wild life and the garden architecture which features
numerous statues and sitting  areas from where to enjoy
spectacular views over the Tuscan countryside and the
towers of Sienna in the distance.
Borgo la Bagnaia also has an Exclusive
Events Venue, tucked out of sight of the main village
on the hillside overlooking Sienna. This superb “Amphitheatre”
is the chosen venue for top cultural events and luxury
product launches.
The Spa has been built in a building
converted from ancient stables in to a marvelous light
filled wellness center, situated in an excluded part
of the country estate and provides total privacy for
spa guests at all times. Access to the spa is carefully
monitored. Spacious treatment rooms all have natural

 The Buddha Spa is NOT a sterile medical
spa or weight loss center. Rather, the spa has been
conceived as a warm and intimate environment where to
relax and be truly pampered. Customer numbers are limited
so as to retain an exclusive and gloriously peaceful
atmosphere. Guests’ privacy is of the utmost importance.
At the Buddha Spa, wellbeing is about wonderful sensations
– about achieving mental and physical equilibrium.

DINING: The elegant gourmet
restaurant La Voliera, situated in the central square
of the estate, offers guests the finest of cuisine,
from the very best local Tuscan delicacies to the most
sumptuous and beautifully presented, yet calorie conscious,
dishes with a creative twist. On fine days guests can
eat “al fresco” on the restaurant terrace.
 The
a la carte menu includes a number of “light”
options for both spa and non spa guests. We do not have
a separate dining policy for spa guests. At Borgo La
Bagnaia a Spa guest is not considered to be a guest
on a diet or with weight problems, rather somebody wanting
to be thoroughly pampered! Our policy - if the primary
ingredients are of the highest quality, are same day
fresh, and cooked with the finest olive oil –
it has to be good for you!
LOCATION: Borgo la
Bagnaia is near to Siena as well as with easy reach
of most important Tuscan places of interest. The nearest
airport is Florence airport which is about one hour,
Pisa is an hour and a half and Rome 2 ½ hours
by car.
