ROOMS ON THE GROUND FLOOR:
Camera dell'Arco: Spacious twin bedded room, situated on the ground floor
with access from the front garden. The original stone
floor dates back to the 19th century. Antiques: a 17th
century chest and a 19th century wardrobe. This room
is not air conditioned. It has a particularly nice bathroom
with a stone wall.
Camera della Fonticina: Large and tastefully furnished double room on the ground
floor with access from the front garden. A very beautiful
double bed made of wrought iron and a large appliqué,
both made by local craftsman. This room is not air conditioned.
The bathroom has a perfectly restored stone wall and
an antique marble wash basin.
ROOMS ON THE FIRST FLOOR:
Camera dell'Abate: Cosy double room where a light blue is the predominant
colour. Located on the main floor of the Villa, it has
a lovely view on the front garden. The original fresco
decorations, the very old wooden ceiling and the terracotta
floor have been patiently and carefully restored. This
bedroom is completely furnished with unique antiques.
This room is not air conditioned but has a very elegant
Carrara white marble bath-room.
Piccola Suite: Junior suite with living room and double bedroom. A
light pink, typical of hand woven linen, is the dominant
furnishing colour. There is a nice antique iron carved
sofa and a white Carrara marble bath-room.
Camera del Camino: A very large double room with two windows overlooking
the garden and a typical country fireplace. Antique
furniture with an impressive 19th century wrought iron
bed complete the decor. En-suite Siena ochre marble
bath-room with bath-tub.
ROOMS ON THE SECOND (TOP)
FLOOR:
La Mansardina: Single
room tastefully furnished with a lovely view of the
front garden. En-suite bright and comfortable bath-room.
Camera dei Tulipani: Double room with a view on the olive groves and the
Pratomagno mountains. The headboard of the double bed
has been made with a 17th century iron decoration that
was originally part of an altar gate. The bathroom is
Siena ochre marble bath-room with hydro-massage shower.
Camera della Terracotta: Very large double room with three windows and a wonderful
panoramic view of the Tuscan landscape. It has a pretty
terracotta fireplace of 19th century. Really bright
and spacious Carrara white marble bath-room with an
elegant bath tub.
Camera delle Rondini: The name "swallows room" comes from the fact
that eaves overhanging its two windows provide housing
for swallows every year, when spring comes. A light
blue double or twin bedded room with a nice view to
the olive groves. There is a very comfortable En-suite
bathroom with bath tub.
Camera dell'Alcova: Double room with a warm" light pink" atmosphere.
The double bed is in a niche between two ample wardrobe
closets. There is a Carrara white marble bathroom with
an antique basin and bath tub.
APARTMENTS:
Villa Belpoggio offers three independent
apartments each suitable for two persons.
Every unit has its own air conditioning,
television, safe, a well equipped cooking area, bathroom
with shower.
Bed linen and towels will be changed
weekly.
Daily change and daily cleanings
can be provided on request.
Il Pratomagno: Two roomed apartment located on the ground floor, with
access from the back side of the Villa and with a nice
view on olive groves and wooded hills. There is a small
private garden and it’s own access. The apartment
has a living-room with a well equipped cooking area,
a large double bedroom with two windows and a large
Carrara white marble bath-room. Suitable for disabled.
Il Fienile: A two – storey apartment located in the old barn
(restored in 2004), which still has its original wooden
ceiling.
On the ground floor, “Fienile”
is made up of a living-room with a fully equipped cooking
area and of an area preceding the bathroom with a comfortable
wardrobe and a Carrara white marble bathroom with shower.
The sofa in the living-room can quickly be turned into
a very comfortable double bed.
From the ground floor you gain access
to a small private garden with a nice terrace in the
shade of an old oak. A wooden stair leads you to the
first floor.
On the first floor of Fienile Apartment
there are a double bedroom, a small area preceding the
bathroom and a second bathroom with shower. In the double
bedroom, that has a marvelous view on the garden, there
is also a single sofa bed.
From the double bedroom on the first floor you can gain
access to the garden by means of an outer stair, without
having to go downstairs.
Our panoramic pool is a few meters
far from “Fienile”. The apartment is equipped
with: air conditioned, telephone (2), TV sat, safe (2)
and hair dryer.
