This Villa in liberty style offers a magnificent view of the the serene Tuscany hills countryside.
 The architect has carefully arranged the interior with functional fittings and yet maintaining the old structure style to offer a warm and cosy ambience. The first floor is liven up of a large panoramic terrace for the Restaurant, Bar and a truly elegant “living-space” for relaxing.
The unique character in each space in Villa La Borghetta makes it special and stands them out from the ordinary hotel. The warmness and meticulous details create the sense of home feeling. A romantic path that winds its way through oaks and splendid century-old cypresses add a magical touch to the villa. Large parking spaces are provided for both the hotel and restaurant guests.
ACCOMMODATION: The building consists of 5 floors:
Ground floor: The Reception and  Wellness Centre are located at the main entrance floor to warmly welcome the guests.A spacious and well furnished Hall together with an impressive grand stairs graciously lead the guest to the service area of the Restaurant on the First floor.
1st floor: Ristorante “La Borghetta”, with separate entrances, it offers three ambiences to suit the different desires.
An ample hall furnished in liberty style, offers an endless panoramic view through the wide French doors. Floors are in marble while the ceiling have been finely hand painted.
A contemporary and laid back dining area was inspired from the former wine cellar of the Villa. This area is characterized by an elegant contrast between the wooden floors and modern furnishing.
 A covered terrace offers a breathtaking view over the Arno Valley.
The Bar is located at the corner of a split level between the restaurant to give guests a getaway feeling. An elegant “Living-Space” is perfect for a quiet mingling moment whilst sipping favourite drinks from the Bar. The Sala Convegni accommodates 60/80 seats completed with a French door that opens to the beautiful natural light.
Five rooms, are on the second floor: two Suites with garden and private terass, two Junior Suites, with private garden, one Junior Suite.
Seven rooms are located on the 3rd floor: three Junior Suites, three double rooms, one single room.
Four rooms are on the fourth floor: one Suite, three Junior Suites,  all rooms are mansard and decorated with exquisite fine drawings.
The Annex is located on the 2nd floor and it has two double rooms, one room especially designed for disabled and another room with a charming private hanging garden.

HISTORY: It was originally a watchtower built at the end of the fourteenth century by the Lords of Figline the Conti Franzese della Foresta family. The ruins of the tower can still be seen within the structure. It later became a fortified villa and still bearing “El Borghetto de Zocco”till today.
 It changed hands again and again until, during the Renaissance period, it became the residence of a branch of the Piccolomini family. There is actually a fresco reproducing their coat of arms with the family “moons” above the main entrance.
Towards the end of the nineteenth century the Florentine Signor Tornaboni restored the building giving it its present aspect and adding the liberty-neoclassic style frecoes which characterize it so strongly.
After a long period of negligence, the villa has been elegantly and carefully restored with the aim of giving its guests a taste of the best of Tuscany. The Puliti family of Figline Valdarno, bought the structure and after 3 years of refurbishment, they returned the Villa in it’s original antique state.
 With care and devotion under restoration work, the family creates a warm and welcoming ambience for all the guests to feel at home.

THE GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: The very well manicured garden is completely immersed in the natural olive grove surrounding the property. It is set on different levels with romantic stairs and pathways leading to the various parts.
The pools are on two levels and well equipped with sun lounges. At the eight of the reception a French door leads to the elegant heated Jacuzzi pool. On the lower level the infinity-style pool has the shallow end above the natural slope of the land and will make you feel like swimming into the Tuscan landscape.
 LOCATION: The Villa is situated on a small location nearby in Figline Valdarno called La Borghetta; it rise between the Valdarno Fiorentino hills and the Chianti area. The medieval and historical centre of Figline Valdarno is just a few kilometres away.
