Dear Manola,
We are now back from our holiday at
Mulino Giacinto. We had a wonderful time and the location
lived up to your description and our expectations. It
truly is an idylic place and the whole village seem
to be proud of it. We had many people passing by who
showed great interest in the Mulino and were very friendly.
The people who run the local shop
were very helpful when we arrived and could not locate
Michael. We had tried both his mobile and land line
on our way to Raggiolo from Rome to arrange a time and
place to meet with no success. We parked and began looking
for him but it transpired that Michaed and Roberta had
been waiting in a different place to where we were parked,
but we eventually found them and they were terrific
helping us settle in etc. What a tremendous job they
have done in restoring the Mulino.
Another person I would like to mention
is Rossano ? Giavanni (not sure of last name) who sought
us out and gave us a very interesting conducted tour
of the village and museum, took us to meet his parents,
who gave us some home cooking and liquer to try. He
also recommended a great family restarant in Quota,
which we thoroughly enjoyed. Both the people in the
restarant and Rossano asked us to send them postcards
from Nottingham which we have already done.
The whole experience was delightful
and we will recommend your company to our friends and
aquaintances. Thank you to Rebecca, yourself and the
rest of staff,
Fred Hawkes and family
