We have returned home after our European travels, and I'm writing to tell you how much we enjoyed San Donato di Villa Arceno. What a beautiful, restful setting it is.

Dear Mr. Derrick,
We appreciated your personal note
with the return of our security deposit check. We absolutely
loved San Donato! We shared it with good friends who
were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary (the
trip to Italy was their
idea) and we all had an incredible time. Your place
truly can be described as 'paradise'. We appreciated
the write up on places to go and things to do and see.
We had fantastic meals at Da Antonio
and La Porta del Chianti (sp?) in San Gusme. We also
prepared a number of great meals at the house - rabbit
cacciatore and chicken with olives and capers. If there
was one thing that it would have been nice to have that
wasn't there it would be a grill to do steaks or chops
(to try out your suggested use of truffle oil) but we
didn't suffer without it. The pool was delightful in
the hot weather - how is it the water stays so cool?
The views from the house and pool are phenomenal! It
was more than we imagined it would be (you should consider
adding a photo or two of the vistas in the website).
We will recommend San Donato at Villa
Arceno every chance we get. Thank you for making such
a great escape possible.
