Tenuta di Seripa consists of 2 separate
buildings, the larger is one villa with 7 bedrooms and
the smaller is divided into 2 mini apartments. Tenuta di Seripa is a recently renovated
18th century farm house that shelters in a peaceful
valley. The villa retains all the charm and delight
of its past combined with updated comfort.
As
you enter Tenuta di Seripa, you are irresistibly attracted
to the beautiful light, space and panoramic views in
every direction - a place of peace and quiet where you
can still breathe in the truly natural atmosphere.
Located in the gentle countryside
of Maremma (Southern Tuscany) about three km or about
2 miles from Sassetta which is a charming historical
village in the province of Livorno, the villa is part
of the ‘Costa degli Etruschi’ (Estruscan
caost). It is set amongst woods and stands of chestnuts
on a hilltop overlooking the sea. From it’s vantage
point high up on the hills, it overlooks one of the
most beautiful stretches of the Maremma coastline.
ACCOMODATION: Apartments: The two apartments are both about 45 sqm and each have
private entrances and access to delightful private gardens.
Both apartments have fitted modern
kitchens equipped with cook top and oven, fridge-freezer,
utensils and linen. Each apartment is cosy and homely,
and offers accommodation for 2-3 people with a double
bed and a single bed and also an en-suite bathroom.
Each apartment also has air-conditioning, heating, and
use of swimming pool during the summer time.
If
the villa is rented with out these apartments, they
will remain empty in order to preserves the privacy
of the villa guests.
Villa Tenuta di Seripa: In
the main villa there are elegant rooms and suites with
private terraces furnished with antique furniture making
your staying comfortable, relaxing. From the windows
you can enjoy panoramic views.
Ground floor: Composed by a huge and
professional kitchen, a salon with patio (where the
owners have served up to 60 guests for wedding ceremonies
or similar) and a W.C. just next to the salon.
First floor: There is a suite with
large private terrace and private entrance. The room
is furnished with antique Tuscan furniture, and a large
bathroom with hydro-massage. On this floor there are
other 2 double bedroom and 2 other bedrooms that can
either be twin or double. Each with its own en-suite
bathroom.
Annex: together with the main building
is an annex sleeping a further 2 persons with large
room, kitchen and en-suite bathroom. Next to this apartment
there is a double bedroom with small studio and en-suite
bathroom. Both have private entrance and garden.
Interiors:
All the rooms are slightly different from the other,
decorated in different colours and with individual furnishings.
All the rooms are equipped with centralized air-conditioning
and heating, Internet service. The beds have latex,
anti-allergy mattresses and 4 different types of pillows
ensure the complete comfort of guests.

FACILITIES WITHIN THE PROPERTY: Swimming pool: The outdoor
swimming pool is available from the 15th of May until
middle of October (all depends on the weather). The
size is 8x16 and depth 1.5m.
Meeting
facilities: there is a salon which is sized 55mq
and connected with a 45mq patio which are perfect for
every kind of celebration and wine & food tasting.
You can connect to Intenet, and there is a TV with dolby
surround system for meetings.
Massimo and his wife provide an exceptional
villa holiday, respecting the privacy of their guests
whilst providing a discreet service. This means a rich
Tuscan breakfast is provided and cleared each day for
you, and the villa cleaned. If you wish, they can provide
a delicious home cooked meal served to the table, or
a relaxed poolside bbq.
Depending on season guests are invited
to pick mushrooms or wild vegetables with the owners
who will then show you how to prepare excellent dishes.
Cooking courses: in the well
equipped kitchen the owners organise cooking lessons
for guests, preparing "pasta fresca", wild
boar sauce, local cakes etc.
Park: There are 3 hectares
of private park with green lawns, various kinds of herbs,
flowers during all seasons and hundreds year-old trees
which will provide you withshade from the fierce Tuscan
sun.
Excursion
& tasting: On request, the owners can organise
small excursions, oil and wine tasting, trekking etc.

NEAR BY: Sassetta is a charming little historical
village on the Costa degli Etruschi, set among woods
and stands of chestnuts on a hilltop overlooking the
sea. This Medieval stronghold still contains reminders
of its past such as the Romanesque baptismal font and
a 15th-century painting of the Virgin.
Suvereto is a splendid medieval village
whose origins date back to before the year 1000. Situated
on the slopes of the hills overlooking the Costa degli
Etruschi it is a true jewel. rich in history and art,
set in the green valley of the River Cornia. The town
displays an enchanting architectural harmony and its
ancient walls enclose paved streets lined with stone
houses. Historical buildings, impressive churches and
shadowy cloisters. Thick cork, chestnut and oak woods,
and Mediterranean scrub grow down to the sea. The Wine
Route winds its way through countryside rich with grapevines
and centuries-old olive trees. The region is swarming
with agricultural enterprises, oil mills, wineries and
farm-holiday resorts where you can try local products
and traditional dishes. The town keeps its antique traditions
alive through magical festivals inspired by history
and folklore that are held throughout the year thanks
to the mild climate.
In summer,
the nearby Mediterranean sea affords day trips to the
beautiful islands of Pianosa, Capraia and Monte Cristo.
