Villa Casanova (300 square meters)
sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Villa Casanova was the owners’
country house. It is an elegant and stylish with views
over the Tuscan hills, their vineyards and olive groves.
The villa was most recently restored
in 1998 with typical Tuscan terra cotta floors.
Built on three floors with a total
of 300 square meters (about 984 sq ft) it sleeps a maximum
of 10 people.
On the ground floor of the villa there
is a mini kitchen designed to prepare light meals for
dining al fresco. It is equipped with a two burner cook
top, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge.
An external staircase in terracotta
leads to the spacious entrance hall on the first floor
and the large living room with sofas, armchairs, Satellite
TV with video recorder, hi fi stereo, fireplace, library
and billiard table. There is also a small collection
of C.D. discs, videos and art books.
On the same floor there is a twin
bedroom and a seperate bathroom with double basin and
shower as well as W.C. There is also a double bedroom
with a bed that is between king and queen size and has
a modern shower stall and basin in the room. Please
note that any one taking a shower in this room is in
full view from any other part of the room, including
the bed.
The kitchen-dining room has a small
balcony and is fully equipped with 4 burner cook top,
microwave oven, wood burning pizza oven, fridge with
freezer and ice distributor, American coffee machine,
toaster and kettle. Iron upon request.
From the entrance hall a staircase
in terracotta leads to the second floor where another
entrance hall with wardrobe will welcome you. On this
floor there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom
with a panoramic terrace of about 100 square meters
equipped with table and chairs. The bathroom on this
floor has an hydromassage shower.
Villa Casanova has about 500 square
meters (about 1650 sq ft) of fenced private garden with
flowers and trees, teak garden furniture, umbrella,
a big stone table, chairs and the barbecue.
Please note there is no telephone
in the house but there is good reception for mobile
telephones. If you need to use the internet the owners
will let you use their telephone line for a small fee.
The villa also comes with a folder
containing various information about the area to help
you plan your sight seeing expeditions.
The farm on the property produces
its own wine and oil that you can buy directly. You
can also reserve dinners catered at the villa with two
days notice for a minimum of six persons. Price will
be decided depending on the menu you choose.
Baby sitting is available upon request
and as well as a baby cot.
