Villa Bona

Charming garden cottage, near to Cortona with wonderful views and eccentric Italian furnishings. Villa Bona is immersed in the wonderful Cortona country side, between cultivated fields and the ancient Tuscan Dukedom (the Leopoldine) houses. 

It is a cosy cottage for 2 persons with private garden, situated inside the owner’s property, surrounded by a large park full of plants, trees and flowers. 45 square meters in total, the cottage has harmonious works of art which mingle with tasteful furnishings. It has a cute dining room with a splendid view onto the garden and an out door terrace equipped with BBQ for dining al fresco. 

ACCOMODATION

In the kitchenette is a dish washer and in the living area Satellite T.V. DVD and hi-fi. The apartment also has heating, air conditioning and a washing machine.

Seventeenth century antiques go with the wonderful twentieth century roman school drawings which are part of the double bedroom furnishings. There is a bathroom with shower. The double bedroom is connected with the dining room by a very particular corridor furnished with different antique mirrors.

But what makes this property very special is the hospitality extended by the owners who invite all their guests to dinner every Wednesday night and will also provideyou with home made cakes for breakfast included in the price.

Pool towels are changed weekly with the sheets and towels but a change of bath towels is twice weekly along with a general cleaning. Cooking lessons, baby sitting and a special welcome to women travelers, this property will ensure a perfect holiday.

An additional bed for a child is also possible with advance request. 

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL

The Swimming-pool is 5 x 10 meters and is some times shared with the owner.

The villa is with in a large park full of plants, trees and flowers. With in the estate is also the owners house and another small independent villa that sleeps six people (Villa Ginevera) which has it’s own separate pool. The two villas can be rented separately or together and are quite private one from the other. Villa Bono has a little private garden all of it’s own with in the larger park and an independent car entrance to ensure your total privacy.

Villa Bona is near to Cortona as well as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places of interest. The nearest airport is Florence (about an hour and a half). Pisa is about two hours and Rome airports both about two and a half hours away.

 High season booking strictly saturday to saturday. Other arrival days considered on request in medium and low season.
Conditions: 

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 37% of the total letting price is payable at the time of booking. It may be paid by credit card or wire transfer. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent notice confirming your payment with contact and arrival information.

BALANCE: The balance is due upon your arrival directly to the owner in cash.

CANCELLATION: In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge either:

a) deposit only - if cancellation is received more than 8 weeks before letting, or
b) Total rent - if cancellation is received less than 8 weeks before letting.

INSURANCE: All tenants are advised to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover; 'In Tuscany' can not accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by tenants.

IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE: all disputes will be heard in the court of Montepulciano.
