Villa Sorbello

A spacious traditional Tuscan farm house, bright and relaxed country living, Villa Sorbello is where you will find peace and tranquility.

The owners, Raffaello and Manuela, have recently refurbished the villa to a very high standard (this year 2010) and have thoroughly dedicated themselves to the attention to details. Stroll through the 300 square meters of this sunny and charming Tuscan home and walk bare foot on the terracotta floors, cook using the fresh herbs found in the garden and use one of the many table sets found in the antique wooden side boards or cupboards.

ACCOMODATION

The villa is organized over two floors. On the ground floor are the large lounges with fireplace, beamed ceiling and TV, a WC with washbasin, a large dining room (seats 12) and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, 6 ring-hob, oven, fridge/freezer and French doors opening onto a pretty patio equipped for dining al fresco. Three double bedrooms with private bathroom with shower. There is also a spacious hall with an alcove featuring a divan bed.

Upstairs, the master double bedroom has a queen sized bed, a terrace, a dressing room and spacious en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; an additional double bedroom, also with queen sized bed and terrace; a twin bedroom and a separate bathroom with shower. There is a washing machine and iron.

The villa also has heating, air conditioning (in the bedrooms and in the kitchen only), standard kettle, toaster and hair dryer.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL

At the front of the villa there is a large swimming pool (12 x 6 meters, 1.6 deep) surrounded by olive trees and overlooking the open countryside.

The gardens are extensive with rolling lawns and situated with a private wooded park also belonging to the property. At the back of the villa the lounge opens out onto a private furnished terrace with a built in barbeque and Pizza oven and a fabulous stylish gazebo with large dining table and chairs to enjoy evening meals overlooking the extensive pretty grounds.

Villa Sorbello is near to Cortona as well as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places of interest. The nearest airport is Florence airport which is under two hours. Rome airports are under three hours.
 
Villa Sorbello is located just 2 kms from the little village of Centoia. The renowned Etruscan town of Cortona is only few minutes away, with its attractions, such us San Francis hermitage, the Frate Angelico paint works and the Cortona Sun Festival, featuring opera, concerts, wine tasting and antique fairs during the summer.
 
The small village of Centoia has a bar and a small grocery. For a wider range of amenities and restaurants drive toward Cortona and reach, Camucia, the town once renowned for its kettle market, where you will find a wide range of restaurants and shops, and a shopping centre with a supermarket.

 High season booking strictly saturday to saturday. Other arrival days considered on request in medium and low season.
Conditions: 

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 37% of the total letting price is payable at the time of booking. It may be paid by credit card or wire transfer. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent notice confirming your payment with contact and arrival information.

BALANCE: The balance is due no later than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to the beginning of the letting period and must be sent to the owner via wire transfer. If the balance is not paid by the appropriate date, the letting agreement will be deemed to be invalid and the deposit forfeited. ‘InTuscany’ will send you a reminder when the balance is due and advise you how to send the money.

CANCELLATION: In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge either:

a) deposit only - if cancellation is received more than 8 weeks before letting, or
b) Total rent - if cancellation is received less than 8 weeks before letting.

INSURANCE: All tenants are advised to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover; 'In Tuscany' can not accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by tenants.

IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE: all disputes will be heard in the court of Montepulciano.
