This splendid country house is characterized by a rural architectural style which brings you back to the past centuries when it was the noble residence of the landlords of the area. Plunged in history and surrounded by a luxuriant nature Villa Soldi commands a vast territory covered with vineyards and olive groves crossed by the famous cypress tree lined roads celebrated by photographers, painters and poets.

The region is full of opportunities for your daily excursions with plenty of wine cellars to taste the world renowned red Chianti wine, visit the vineyards and the farms to understand the wine producing processes. The olive mills to appreciate another valuable Tuscan product, the extra virgin olive oil, essential element for the Tuscan cooks. In addition to that, the area of Impruneta is famous for the production of the so called Cotto Impruneta, which is terracotta manufacturing of very high quality resulted from the excellent work of the local craftsmen. Mainly it is used for floors and bricks but also for jars and pots to contain oil or just to embellish the gardens. At Villa Soldi you can also see a Madonna made with this material and great artists such as Brunelleschi used this same terracotta to build the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence.

Villa Soldi is perfectly located to satisfy all your preferences and you can organize your days visiting the nearby town of Florence or take advantage of the many other local amenities. ACCOMODATION

Villa Soldi extends over two floors plus the basement for a total of 450 square meters and it can easily accommodate up to 7 people in the main house and 2 extra persons in the annex for a total of 9 persons sleeping in 4 bedrooms of which three bedrooms are in the main villa and the fourth bedroom is in the dependence. All the rooms are spacious and bright, elegantly furnished in keeping with the ancient style that characterizes the building, therefore it is not suitable for children under 5 years old.

On the ground floor you will be welcomed by a large kitchen fully equipped with everything you need included a working fireplace, a spacious living room with another fireplace, a bright dining room and a small toilet. The kitchen opens on to a large outdoor veranda organized with table and chairs which allow you to enjoy your dinners and snacks in front of the breathtaking views over the Tuscan hills, pampered by the fragrant scent of white wisteria.

On the first floor of Villa Soldi you will find 3 large double bedrooms, 2 of which with king size bed and one twin. One of the bedrooms is internally connected with a smaller bedroom with a single sofa bed which is ideal for a family with a kid but this room is also accessible from the corridor and you can lock the connecting door with the other bedroom in case it is used by an adult.  On the same floor are 2 big bathrooms one with shower and one with shower and bathtub.

In the basement, a laundry is at your disposal and also a gym area.

An outdoor paved terrace equipped with a gazebo to relax in the open air separates the main villa from its dependence. The annex is a completely independent studio apartment and it offers a comfortable accommodation for 2 persons in one large double bedroom with kitchen corner, Tv Sat and one bathroom with shower.

This property offers you many services such as air conditioning, two fireplaces, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, fast internet connection,  barbecue, small gym, cot and high chair for babies, midweek cleaning and change of linen, private parking, hair dryer, dishwasher, washing machine, safe box and central heating for the winter.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL

The panoramic swimming pool (4 x 10 x 1.50 meters) will be available from April 2013. It will be perfectly positioned in front of the main entrance of the house but it will be fenced by a hedge for children safety and it will also have gate.

This authentic Tuscan farmhouse is immersed in the greenery of a idyllic park planted with trees, shrubs and flowers of every kind, very well manicured and providing to its guests an alternation of sunny and shady areas to satisfy all your needs, whether if you prefer sunbathing or take it easy and enjoy the views in this warm open air, but well sheltered from the hot rays.
