The villa is located right outside the picturesque hamlet of Iano, whose origins date back to the Etruscan times. This is the territory of Montaione which lies on the triangle of the provinces of Pisa, Florence and Siena, ideal starting point to visit S. Gimignano, Volterra and the most beautiful artistic Tuscan cities which can be easily reached by car.

The villa was the school of the hamlet till the ’70s, it has been completely restored and stylishly furnished with 1900 furniture. It has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with shower and can accommodate up to 8 people. The layout of the villa allows each guest to have utmost privacy 

The refreshing pool for the exclusive use of the clients at Villa Valentina offers enchanting views of the countryside, also enjoyable from the most part of the windows of the villa. 

ACCOMODATION

Villa Valentina is an idyllic place where you can completely relax amongst olive trees.

Completely on the ground floor the villa is 205 square meters and it has three entrance doors with direct access to the garden.

It has 2 fully equipped kitchens with fridge freezer, electric hob, oven, coffee machine, toaster. One of the kitchens has a dishwasher. At the villa you have two spacious living rooms with dining area and one with fireplace. Two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with shower. Terrace facing the swimming pool.

The villa is also equipped with Satellite TV, DVD player, electrical kitchen equipment, internet connection, separate laundry room with iron and ironing board.

The two kitchens, the separate living rooms and entrances, everything at the villa makes it just ideal for your dream holiday whether if you are having a family reunion,  vacations on your own or with a group of friends. 

The windows all have mosquito-screens and all the bedrooms has the air conditioning.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL

In the garden is located the swimming pool (6 x 9 meters) with Roman steps and children’s area, a pretty wrought iron gazebo with stunning views towards Volterra, the Val d’Era valley, gently rolling hills and  the opposite hill cock is one of the three Tuscan islands which surfaced during the Carboniferous period complete this corner of paradise.

The outside is furnished with wrought iron tables and chairs, sun beds, two BBQs, wood burning oven.

From the house the village of Iano is walking distance, just 200 meters. The Village offers the bar/restaurant, typical restaurant, minimarket, church.

Montaione is just 10 km away from the property and it offers all the amenities included restaurants, bars, wine bars, supermarket, bank, post office, chemistry and all kind of shops.

Within easy reach by car, 10-15 minutes drive, you find the golf course of Castelfalfi, tennis court, horse riding (rates available locally).

 High season booking strictly saturday to saturday. Other arrival days considered on request in medium and low season.
Conditions: 

DEPOSIT: A deposit of 37% of the total letting price is payable at the time of booking directly to 'InTuscany'. It may be paid by credit card or wire transfer. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent via e-mail a voucher confirming your reservation with contact information for the owners and the phone number of the villa.

BALANCE: The balance is due no later than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to the beginning of the letting period and must be paid directly to the owner by wire transfer. If the balance is not paid by the appropriate date, the letting agreement will be deemed to be invalid and the deposit forfeited. ‘InTuscany’ will send you a reminder when the balance is due and advise you how to send the money.

CANCELLATION: In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge either:

a) deposit only - if cancellation is received more than 8 weeks before letting, or
b) Total rent - if cancellation is received less than 8 weeks before letting.

INSURANCE: All tenants are advised to consider insurance needs in relation to travel, accident, medical and personal cover; 'In Tuscany' can not accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by tenants.

IN THE EVENT OF DISPUTE: all disputes will be heard in the court of Montepulciano.

Reviews

Dear Manola, Just a note to let you know we had a great time at the Villa Valentina. In the 10+ year we have been renting houses in Italy, France and Spain we have not seen such a well kept home and hospitality. Manuela has been a wonderful host, she welcomed us with warmth and attention, made sure all was well for us and attended to any request or need. The house is well situated, clean and all amenities are well appointed. The pool is in a great (well kept) garden setting, numerous lounge chairs and table setting for meals. There are outdoor wood stoves as well and the property is surrounded in vineyards. All in all we recommend this property very highly. Best regards.

I am writing to say what a wonderful holiday we spent in Iano. The location is the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience with a couple of restaurants and the mini-market so close.

The villa itself was first class, of high quality and cleanliness. Everything we needed for the seven of us including 'la piccola' as Emily was called by Manuela.

A special word of thanks to Manuela for looking after us so well, she really made us so welcome - and we will miss her.

We would be very happy to go there again in the future.
