Villa Gasparri stands on a peaceful
hilltop commanding a view of all the valley separating
Montespertoli from Castelfiorentino, it is an ancient
and timeless landscape that abounds with olive groves
and vineyards.
The
villa it’s self is a small, pretty villa, ideally
located for  exploring the glorious region ofChianti
and Florence. Restructured from a beautiful 17th century
farm house, this villa is perfect for guests wanting
to spend a holiday in Chianti in first-class accommodation
surrounded by beautiful private grounds.
There are thoughtful, graceful touches
inside, with the bedrooms boasting original features
such as terracotta floors, chestnut beamed ceilings
and stone fireplaces.
The proud owners of the villa are
more than welcoming and make guests feel very much at
home whilst being respectful of privacy. They live 20
meters from the villa and speak fluent English.
There is a charming out door eating
area that opens from the kitchen under a covered verandah,
furnished with comfortable teak furniture. The living/dining
room has sprawling sofas, an open fire place and a huge
dining table.
ACCOMODATION: Just one step from the main villa entrance you'll find
a pleasant  open plan living-space, a dining area with
a large fireplace and satellite TV. From the dining
area, via an internal staircase, you reach a double
bedroom on a balcony (on request this can be made up
as a twin room). The other double bedroom (master bedroom)
and the kitchen and second bathroom can be accessed
through the corridor.
The master bedroom has an en suite
bathroom with shower and toilet. Between the kitchen
and the master bedroom there is another bathroom with
a shower.
A well equipped kitchen with 4-ring gas hob, microwave,
fridge/freezer and washing machine and dishwasher gives
direct access to the main garden, with a covered loggia
for dining al fresco.
THE GARDEN AND SURROUNDING
ENVIRONMENT: A drive up to the villa leads
to the pool (11 x 5 meters or 36.09 x 16.4 feet),  which
is very occasionally shared with the 2 owners. It is
surrounded by olive trees and well furnished with lounges
and umbrellas. There are steps up to the house and terrace
area where spectacular views across the valley can be
enjoyed.
LOCATION: Villa Gasperri
is near to Montespertoli in the heart of Chianti as
well as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places
of interest. The
nearest airport is Florence airport (under an hour),
Pisa is just over an hour and both Rome airports are
about three hours drive.
The Villa is located a mere three
minutes' drive from the town of Montespertoli, and just
30 minutes' from Florence, making it perfectly placed
for those who want to explore this fascinating part
of Tuscany.
 There is a food shop 500 meters or
yards from the property (closed on Wednesdays), and
a bank, chemist, supermarket and Post Office are all
to be found roughly 2 and a half kilometers away (just
over a mile). Please note that you do need a car to
stay at this villa.
