Independent villa for 4 people on a sunny hill between Liguria and Tuscany near to the Cinque Terre.
Perched above the charming medieval town of Sarzana Villa La Quercia enjoys peace and quite of the Ligurian countryside. The villa originally was an old country house now completely and lovingly restored by the amiable owner to  make a beautiful and comfortable holiday home for her guests.
Care and attention has been taken to use traditional materials, terracotta floor, Carrara marble as weel as the furnishing.
Everything you will find unusual and antique pieces. The owner Signora Lilli spent years scouring local antique market around Liguria and Tuscany collecting ceramics, tiles, paintings, old cameras, books.
Villa La Quercia is ideal for anyone who desires to unite art and history with sea and relaxation.
ACCOMMODATION: Villa La Quercia is on two floors: On the ground floor there is a bright living room with fireplace, TV, DVD, Hi Fi Stereo and comfortable sofas.
 The living room connected to the dining room and to the lovely country kitchen with its open atmosphere represents the heart of the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge, American coffee maker, toaster and beautiful potteries in use for your meals. A corridor leads on the other side where is a cosy living/study room with opens onto the garden.
Here there is a single sofa bed.
Next to the living/study room you find a romantic double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub and all comforts. Thanks to a multiple entrance the garden may be accessed either from the living room and the kitchen or the living/study. A wooden staircase leads on the first floor where there is an original double bedroom with a beautiful bookcase , an ensuite bathroom and a single bedroom with a terrace which offer a fine view of the garden and the sea.

GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: All around Villa La Quercia the large and lovely garden, surrounded by oaks trees and olive trees, affords guests complete peace and privacy.
The patio, fully equipped with table, chairs and sun-shaded, is ideal for barbecues or romantic dinners al fresco surrounded by seasonal flowers and fresh basil and rosmary.
An outside wood oven give you the opportunity to cook Pizza or Focaccia and the original table under the old oak will offer you pleasant country breakfasts.
LOCATION: Villa La Quercia is near to Carrara and Cinque Terra, as well
as with in easy reach of most important Tuscan places
of interest.The nearest airport is Pisa (30 minutes).
Florence airport is 1 hour and Rome airport 3 hours
by car.

you can easilyreach places of great touristic interest
like Cinque  Terre, the Golfo dei Poeti, Portovenere
and Portofino, the Apuan Alps and the white marble caves
in Carrara (20 minutes away by car). The beaches of
Versilia are 30 minutes away), the medieval town of
Sarzana (10 minutes), Northern Tuscan towns such as
Pisa (40 minutes by car), Lucca (30 minutes), Florence
( 1 hour).
There are ferry companies that will
take you to visit the beautiful Cinque Terre, Golfo
dei Poeti, Portovenere and Portofino. Boats depart also
from Marina di Carrara (10 km or just over 6 miles away).
