 Villa Olivella is a sumptuous independent villa (160 M² or about 525 square feet), with an extensive landscaped garden - it would be difficult to find such comfort and beautifully tended grounds in a five star hotel.
Set in undulating acres of olive groves and vineyards, the villa has an irresistible combination of contemporary comfort and traditional character. With very high ceilings, traditional cotto floors, heavy wooden beams, and a large stone fireplace on the ground floor this villa is really lux. The large living/dining room has French windows that open onto a splendid covered Loggia with views of San Miniato tower.
ACCOMMODATION: The kitchen is fully-equipped with 4 ring burner, oven, fridge and freezer, micro wave, dishwasher etc. It opens into the living room and then onto a huge terrace with its impressive iron gazebo.  It is the perfect spot for memorable al fresco meals.
Also on the ground floor is the enormous and very luxuriously furnished living and dining room with inviting open fire place and numerous sprawling but elegant arm chairs and sofas. Two double bedrooms, each with a spacious en suite bathroom and hair dryer (one with a Jacuzzi tub) and a third bathroom for communal use complete the picture.
With a separate external entrance but in the same building is also a large laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities. A cook, extra maid service or extra towels and linens are all available for a small additional fee.
THE GARDEN AND SURROUNDING
ENVIRONMENT: The villa's private swimming pool (19 x 9 metres or about 62 x 29 ½ feet) is arguably  one of the most spectacular in Tuscany and has an adjacent children's pool (9m x 4m or about 13 x 29 ½ feet) with a magnificent sun terrace which enjoys glorious views across the vineyards and undulating hills of Chianti. The pool is so attractive that you may well prefer to spend most of your time there!
Please note that this villa has no telephone but good cell phone reception. The owner lives in the next villa (about five minutes on foot, in case of an emergency.)
LOCATION: Villa Olivella is near to Empoli as well as with easy reach of most important Tuscan places of interest. It is only about 20 minutes to San Gimignano and Vinci (the birth place of Leonardo), ½ an hour to Volterra or Florence, One hour toSiena.
 The nearest airport is Florence airport (less than ½ an hour), then Pisa is about one hour and Rome (3 hours by car).
