Large traditional Florentine country
villa in immaculate garden, Villa Paola is sure to provide
a simply perfect and timeless Tuscan vacation.
 The
villa is located at roughly 50 meters or yards from
another smaller independent accommodation called Il
Fienilino which sleeps 4+2 and used to be the
hay barn for the big house. The two properties can be
rented together or separately and share the pool.
The villa it’s self is divided
into two separate apartments; the ground floor is home
to the owner Signora Paola and her family, with the
upper floor given over completely to the rental apartment.
They have separate entrances and are completely surrounded
by a large garden that is very meticulously kept. There
is a private gazebo in the garden for the use of guests,
equipped with tables and chairs for al fresco eating
and relaxing.
The apartment on the first floor is
designed and furnished in a classic elegant style. The
owner has personally directed the restoration of the
house and her impeccable taste in colour and fabrics
is seen throughout. Use of soft "Siena yellow"
or orange, green and red adds to the luminosity of the
first floor furnishings, and stands  out from the wood
beamed ceilings, brickwork, and wood and terracotta
floors.

Paola and her family are always available for advice
and assistance whist being respectful of your privacy.
ACCOMODATION: The
apartment (roughly 2100 sq. ft. or about 195 sq.mt.)
has a television room and a separate kitchen/dining
room with full refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, 4-burner
range, italian and american coffee machine, dishwasher and dryer, TV Sat and wi-fi connexion.
There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The 'green' bedroom has two single beds, the 'red' bedroom
has a double bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower,
and the 'yellow' bedroom also is a double bedroom with
en suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a double. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. There
are two additional bathrooms, one of which has a shower.
Hair dryers are available in all the bathrooms.
 Please note that this villa does not have a telephone
although there is good reception for guests own cell
phones and the owners phone maybe used in case of an
emergency.
THE
GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: The garden,
surrounded by olive trees, is ideal for barbecues, and
is equipped with a sun terrace with chairs, table and
sun-shades. The garden is very large and affords guests
complete peace and privacy.
Guests have use of a swimming pool
(6 x 12 meters or 19.69 x 39.37 ft.) that is hidden
in the grounds of the villa. It is 30 meters or yards
away, and shared with guests of Il
Fienilino.
There is private parking, barbeque
and the use of mountain bikes.
LOCATION: Villa Paola
is near to Florence at Lastra a Signa as well as with
easy reach of most important Tuscan places of interest.
The nearest airport is Florenceairport about half an
hour, Pisa is one hour and  Rome just under three hours.
OTHER FACILITIES AVAILABLE
NEAR BY: Should you wish a night off from cooking
then there is a restaurant within walking distance,
just 350 meters or yards down the road. You can play
golf at Club Le Pavoniere and Golf Club Ugolino (both
eighteen hole).
The owner can also organize cooking classes, wine and oil tasting, baby sitter service.
There
is horse-riding about 3 kilometers or 1 ½ miles
away and fishing at 700 meters or yards. The nearest
largish town is Lastra a Signa at 1.5 kilometers or
less than a mile, which is also the distance to the
nearest bus stop, buses depart for Florence at most
times every fifteen minutes.
