Imposing private Tuscany villa dating back to the 18th century comprising 2 independent units. This beautiful 5–hectare estate is situated in quiet and panoramic location, in the heart of the Val d’Orcia region, a short distance away from the charming medieval town of Pienza, south of Siena.

The villa was carefully restored preserving its original architectural features and ancient charm and was turned into a welcoming, elegant country-side house. The interiors are tastefully furnished in a rustic style and the 2 separate units offer full privacy. Outside guests can enjoy use of a well-groomed garden with a nice partially covered pool.

The location of Podere Orcia is in easy access to many of the beautiful towns of the area such as Pienza, Radicofani, San Quirico d’Orcia, Montepulciano as well as to the charming spas of Bagno Vignoni, Bagni di San Filippo and Chianciano Terme.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL: A magic place with a view of 360 degrees out of the countryside which has made Val d’Orcia an UNESCO heritage. Podere Orcia offers you and your friends the possibility of swimming and relaxing in a splendid 24 mt pool (partially covered for 6 mts), with a special purifying system with sodium chloride, very suitable for children and people with skin problems. (24 x 4 m / 6 x 4 m tye covered part – depth 1,4 m – With hydromassage and shower (in the covered part).

The villa also has a BBQ area looking out over the extraordinary view of Val d’Orcia. Here you can dine in the tranquillity of the courtyard. At Podere Orcia you can have a poolside cocktail and prepare a delicious “al fresco” dinner under the strawberry pergola with your friends, enjoying the real Tuscan atmosphere. The parking is on the property.

The access to the property is via 2,5 km of unpaved but well-maintained road.

ACCOMODATION: The owner, a famous architect, who has looked after the reconstruction in the smallest details, has furnished the villa in the traditional Tuscan style. The villa is composed of two completely comfortable independent apartments, where it is possible to spend a perfect holiday with your family and friends. The typical Tuscan style has been accompanied by all modern comforts, so that you have tradition, innovation and relax all together.

The villa is 520 square meters and can accommodate up to 14 persons in 8 bedrooms with 8 bathrooms. It comprises 2 units distributed as follow:

The left wing (7 people) is 260 sq mt. Ground floor. Access to the covered section of the swimming pool; entrance to a big characteristic kitchen with a semiprofessional stove made by the famous Florentine firm, Restart, with 9 burners and 2ovens; microwave oven, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, american coffee machine, mixer, boiler. The kitchen can seat 6 people in front of a large functional fireplace.There is a TV room with dining area and access to the courtyard which is protected by curtains and has a long table for 15 people. Everything in Tuscan style, even the characteristic ceilings with wooden beams, elegant and exclusive. This wing of the villa has a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and access to the outside, with a double shower. A small bedroom for teen agers on the balcony with a single bed and private bathroom.

First floor: a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and hydromassage bath. Another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a double shower. A covered terrace, also accessible from the outside, with a view over the swimming pool and Val d’Orcia.

The right wing is 260 sq mt (7 people), access to the covered section of the swimming pool from the inside and outside. Ground floor: a characteristic kitchen of the Florentine Restart firm with 9 burners and 2 ovens; small microwave, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, american coffee machine, mixer and boiler. Dining table for 8 people.The two big kitchens of the villa are equipped for cooking with friends and all the family or for the unique experience of a cooking class with a typical Tuscan “mamma”. Details: External space, with access from the kitchen, with a big table, perfect corner, to have a relaxing breakfast; access to a lounge room with satellite TV and a functional fireplace, warm and romantic lounge with original colored walls. This room, called the blue room, has a private bathroom with a large shower and direct access to the pool; comfortable divans and two beautiful arm chairs. The Tuscan terracotta gives this large area a classic, traditional Tuscan atmosphere. Dining area, 15 people. Access to the patio with iron and wooden table for 4 people and a divan for 2. Double bedroom with access to the outside, ensuite bathroom with large double shower and access to the covered swimming pool. Second double bedroom with bathroom ensuite and large double shower and access to the outside near the kitchen well.

First floor: Large double bedroom with a canopied bed, 2 x 2 mts, bathroom ensuite with hydromassage with view. Second large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and functional fireplace.
